Meet KODA
The organisation Koda was created and is led by Delphine Fofie.

The idea to lead a listening ear service was inspired through a passion to serve my community and humanity as a whole. As a resident of Barking and Dagenham, the increase in loneliness and isolation is apparent. The lack of a supportive presence can make problems feel significantly bigger than they are. I believe in the power of conversation as form of relief and the benefit offloading can have on a person. We aim to contribute to reducing the feeling of social isolation and loneliness within the community.
Our mindset has a great impact on how we feel and interact in the world . I believe in the importance of sharing any wisdom and positive ways of thinking in order to introduce new perspectives and inspire new thoughts in another person. Life is a journey with its ups and downs, but having a supportive friend by our side can uplift us and make it an exciting journey.

The word KODA is a beautiful Native American term that signifies "friendship" or "companion." It embodies the spirit of connection, reminding us of the importance of companionship in our lives. Whether you're seeking someone to share your journey with or looking to foster friendships, Koda represents the bonds that enrich our experiences. Embrace the essence of friendship with Koda.
